Spend Spring Break at Science Central!

What? You say your Spring Break isn't the same as schools in Allen County and you still want something to do? Visit Science Central and participate in our Spring Break Workshops. Children are welcome to participate with or without their parents, but parents must remain in the building.

Ages: 3 years and up

Cost: $3/Session (pre-registered), $4/session at the door, plus regular admission to Science Central.

Times: Sessions are from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm and 2:30 - 3:30 pm each day.

First Come, first served - space is limited, so register today!

Spring Awakening
Wednesday, March 24

Are you tired of the winter? Visit our Digital StarLab to understand the reasons for the seasons and why Spring is finally here. Then awaken to Spring by exploring plants and animals that are emerging from their winter's rest.

Thursday, March 25

Take a break from Spring to learn about the weather! Become a meteorologist in this camp where you will make your own cloud in a bottle, create a thunderstorm, and whirl up a hurricane. Better batten down the hatches!

Icky, Sticky Science

What do gummy worms, rubber balls and snot have in common? Find out in the ooiest, gooiest camp ever! Be sure to dress for the mess!

Spring into Action
Friday, April 2
Today you will leap tall buildings with a single bound! Well, maybe not, but you can be a Science Super Hero by learning how biology and physics contribute to making a great athlete. Dissect a cow's eye to find out how we see the ball or puck, experiment with levers and pulleys to better understand strength and force, and much more!
