At various times throughout the year, Science Central hosts different types of events such as presentations, screenings and festivals which are free with paid admission. Below are just a few of the many Public Programs that we offer.

"The Doctor will be In."   Meeting health professionals and learning about medical and health issues in a fun and friendly environment will be the focus of the event.  Activities will include the landing and display of the Lutheran Air and Parkview Samaritan helicopters (weather permitting); the chance to explore emergency medical vehicles; presentations by health care professionals on career options and training; and hands-on activities including a teddy bear first aid stations, and making a removable cast.

Come celebrate the cold at Winterval! In conjunction with the Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department and the Downtown Improvement District, Science Central will offer discounted admission as part of “Winterval,” a celebration of winter fun! Held on a Last Saturday, admission to Science Central is only $5 per person
